Organised chaos.. # Read thisHere, this was on m Organised chaos.. # Read thisHere, this was on my way to office. The first thing that anyone would notice in this picture is the chaos.
But the chaos you see here or for that matter any city in India is organised. I call it the “organised chaos”
Because the chaos that you see here, even that has a pattern, and there are rules you need to follow within this chaos.
So it’s not like chaotic chaos but rather organised chaos.
When I see this picture, I’m reminded of my own ex When I see this picture, I’m reminded of my own experience with one of these sanitation workers in HSR layout, where I earlier used to live..One morning I went down from my first floor apartment to dispose off the trash.. I was new in Bangalore and didn’t know that here we’d have to separate dry and waste. Mine was mixed .. and one of the sanitation workers saw me dispose off the trash. She immediately came to me, and said please don’t do that. She was rude and frustrated..I listened to her, and nodded in agreement whatever she said.. I wasn’t offended.Seeing that I didn’t react, she toned down and explained, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday - dry waste, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - wet waste! After that day, every time we met, we’d smile and wave hands at each other. But as I recall that incident today, especially her frustrations, I now understand..Why? Because very often I see these women separate wet from dry waste with their bare hands.Yet many of us, Inspite of knowing all these, continue to throw mixed trash..I kinda felt bad, bad about myself that because of people like us, these women have to endure this everyday!Let’s not do this. Let’s keep our cities and environment clean. Share this with anyone who needs to hear this ✌️

Most people come here for the history books or the Most people come here for the history books or the architecture, but standing inside those stone chambers feels like a heavy, suffocating silence. In the late 16th century, these were built as gunpowder magazines. By World War II, they became something far more sinister.Thousands of Filipino civilians and POWs were held here in total darkness. When the liberation of Manila finally came in 1945, nearly 600 bodies were found in these very cells—victims of heat, starvation, and a lack of air.It is a jarring sight. It forces you to look at the mundanity of a soldier standing over a prisoner and realize that for some, this was a Tuesday. For others, it was the end of their world.

We’ve all been there: you capture a great moment, We’ve all been there: you capture a great moment, but the lighting just doesn’t do the memory justice. It’s either too dark, the colors feel muddy, or the subjects don’t pop.In this edit, I wanted to take a standard low-light shot and give it a clean, professional “fine art” feel without losing the warmth of the original moment.

“Can I click your photo?”, I asked“Yes”, he said “Can I click your photo?”, I asked“Yes”, he said with a smile.. 🙈 “I am not a hero though”I loved his sense of humor. He then even posed for the camera. 😁If you are unsure if people would allow you to click them, sometimes all you have to do is ask..#streetphotography
